2. Purpose and scope of the website

This website provides public information about Crmbls AI, including product information, the story behind the project, how the app is intended to work, community links, contact options, and legal documents.

The website is not the mobile app runtime. It does not provide website user accounts, authentication, payments, subscriptions, a public Pricing page, analytics scripts, backend API routes, or app store download routes.

3. Relationship to the Crmbls AI app

The website may describe app features, app availability, Crmbls, rewards, and other app-related information.

Such information is general product information only. Actual use of the Crmbls AI mobile app is governed by the separate app Terms of Use and app Privacy Policy.

Descriptions of beta or app functionality may change and do not guarantee that a feature will remain available, be implemented exactly as described, or be included in a later final release.

4. Contact form and community link

The Contact form lets visitors send a contact request where the form is configured and available. It requires an email address, topic, message, acceptance of the Privacy Policy and Terms of Use for the request, and Google reCAPTCHA verification.

Submitting a contact request does not guarantee a specific response time or a specific outcome. We may need additional information to understand or process certain requests.

The website may link to the Crmbls AI Reddit community or other external community pages. External community platforms are separate services with their own rules, terms, privacy information, moderation decisions, and availability.

5. Informational content and no medical advice

All information on this website is provided for general informational purposes only.

Crmbls AI is not presented as a medical app, diagnosis tool, treatment, cure, disease-risk tool, or clinically validated healthcare software. The website does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, treatment recommendations, or any other professional health service.

If you have health concerns, take medication, have a medical condition, or intend to make significant changes to your diet, nutrition, supplement use, hydration, training, or lifestyle, you should seek appropriate professional advice.

6. AI, nutrition, BLS data, and accuracy signals

The website may describe AI-assisted recognition, BLS-based structured food data, nutrition calculation, review flows, Accuracy signals, lifestyle features, Crmbls, rewards, and other app features.

Where the website says that values are calculated by Crmbls AI using BLS 4.0 nutrient data, this describes a data and calculation basis. It does not imply endorsement, validation, sponsorship, approval, guarantee, or affiliation by the Max Rubner-Institut.

Accuracy signals are intended as orientation and transparency signals, not guarantees and not medical scores. No statement on the website should be understood as a promise that AI recognition, scan results, nutrition calculations, or other app outputs will be complete, error-free, medically meaningful, or suitable for a specific purpose.

7. Website availability and changes

We make reasonable efforts to provide the website reliably. However, there is no claim to uninterrupted availability, error-free operation, permanent access, or unchanged website content.

The website may be changed, restricted, expanded, paused, or temporarily unavailable at any time, especially due to maintenance, technical issues, security measures, hosting changes, legal requirements, or product changes.

8. External links

This website may contain links to external websites or platforms. We are not responsible for the content, privacy practices, terms, moderation, or availability of external services.

Clicking external links is at your own responsibility.

9. Intellectual property

Texts, logos, graphics, designs, product names, marks, website layouts, screenshots, and other content on this website may be protected by copyright, trademark, or other intellectual property laws.

You may not copy, modify, publish, distribute, or commercially use website content without prior permission unless permitted by law.

These Terms of Use are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Germany, unless mandatory consumer protection laws of another country apply.

2. What Crmbls AI is

Crmbls AI is an informational nutrition and lifestyle tracking app. It helps users log, review, and understand food, drinks, supplements, wellbeing signals, goals, Crmbls, and related app activity.

The Beta App may include features such as:

• AI-assisted food and drink scan flows;
• BLS-based nutrition calculations;
• manual Food Search;
• direct Nutrition Entry;
• drink and hydration logging;
• supplement logging;
• favorites and re-logging;
• wellbeing and lifestyle check-ins;
• goals, summaries, stats, and lifestyle views;
• Accuracy or reliability indicators;
• Crmbls wallet and reward features;
• scan result reporting.

The availability, naming, pricing, limits, and behavior of features may change during or after the Beta phase.

3. Beta status

Crmbls AI is currently provided as a private Beta App. The Beta is intended to test the app under real-world conditions, find errors, improve reliability, and prepare a future final version.

During the Beta phase:

• features may be incomplete, experimental, limited, or unavailable;
• features may be changed, removed, or added;
• pricing, Crmbl costs, reward rules, entitlements, and access rules may change;
• results may be inaccurate, incomplete, delayed, or unavailable;
• data models, backend systems, API routes, or infrastructure may change;
• the app may be unavailable during maintenance, outages, or testing;
• Beta data may be reset or deleted;
• these Terms and the Privacy Policy may be updated.

You should not rely on the Beta App or Beta data as permanent. When the Beta phase ends, or when Crmbls AI moves to final production infrastructure, Beta accounts and Beta app data may be deleted, reset, or not migrated into the final app. There is no claim to continued access to a specific Beta account, Beta Crmbl balance, Beta logs, Beta favorites, Beta reports, Beta settings, or other Beta data.

4. Account, Google OAuth, and access

The Beta App may require an authenticated account. Google OAuth / Google Sign-In may be used as the primary sign-up and sign-in method. Supabase Auth may be used to process authentication and connect the Google-authenticated session with a Crmbls AI app user.

You are responsible for using only an account that you are authorized to use. You must not use another person's account, attempt to bypass authentication, misrepresent your identity, or interfere with account assignment.

The account is used to associate app data, logs, scans, settings, Crmbls, wallet entries, rewards, reports, and Beta onboarding status with the correct user.

5. Agreement to updated Terms and legal documents

We may update these Terms and the Privacy Policy from time to time, especially when the Beta App, features, infrastructure, pricing, Crmbls rules, rewards, data handling, third-party services, law, or business model changes.

The current version will be made available in the app or through the official legal pages. For material changes, we will inform you through appropriate means, such as an in-app notice, website notice, email, app store release notes, or another suitable communication channel.

By continuing to use the Beta App after updated Terms become effective, you accept the updated Terms, to the extent permitted by applicable law. If you do not agree to updated Terms, you must stop using the Beta App. If a Privacy Policy change requires consent under applicable law, we will request that consent where required.

6. No medical advice

Crmbls AI is not a medical app. It is not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, prevent, or monitor any disease or medical condition.

The app does not replace medical advice, nutrition counselling, diagnosis, treatment, or other professional services. Nutrition values, scan results, Accuracy indicators, wellbeing entries, lifestyle scores, goals, summaries, and any other outputs are for personal informational orientation only.

If you have a medical condition, symptoms, allergies, food intolerances, dietary restrictions, take medication, or plan to significantly change your diet, supplements, hydration, or lifestyle, you should consult a qualified professional.

7. Nutrition results and user responsibility

Crmbls AI may produce or store nutrition values in different ways depending on the flow. Values can be estimated, calculated, mapped, transformed, user-entered, or AI-assisted.

For example:

• scan flows may use AI to identify foods, ingredients, drinks, and gram amounts;
• the backend may calculate nutrition values from selected or validated BLS entries and gram amounts;
• some unresolved scan ingredients may receive server-side AI Calculated fallback values;
• manual Food Search may use selected BLS food items and gram amounts;
• Nutrition Entry may use values entered directly by the user;
• drink and supplement logs may use user-defined type data, amounts, and app calculations.

Scan results, AI estimates, BLS-based values, source labels, ingredient names, gram amounts, summaries, and Accuracy indicators are transparency aids. They are not guarantees that any food, ingredient, amount, nutrient value, allergen information, suitability statement, or health-related conclusion is correct.

You remain responsible for checking food, ingredients, allergens, labels, quantities, preparation, suitability, and any individual dietary or health requirements. Crmbls AI is not a substitute for reading food labels, checking allergen warnings, or obtaining professional advice.

8. Third-party nutrition data sources: BLS 4.0 / Bundeslebensmittelschlüssel

Crmbls AI uses BLS 4.0 / Bundeslebensmittelschlüssel nutrient data as one foundation for BLS-based nutrition calculations.

Crmbls AI processes, maps, transforms, and calculates app values from BLS 4.0 source data and estimated or confirmed gram amounts. BLS-based values in the app mean that Crmbls AI calculates app results using BLS 4.0 nutrient data and relevant gram amounts. BLS-based does not mean that the Max Rubner-Institut calculated a user's meal, scan result, daily summary, or app output.

The Max Rubner-Institut does not endorse, support, sponsor, approve, validate, or have an affiliation with Crmbls AI. Crmbls AI does not claim that the Max Rubner-Institut validates the app, the app's calculations, app-specific mappings, transformations, source labels, Accuracy indicators, user-specific results, or user-entered data.

Crmbls AI does not own the BLS 4.0 source data. Any third-party data attribution remains subject to the applicable license terms.

9. Source labels and transparency labels

The app may show source or transparency labels such as:

• BLS-based;
• AI Calculated;
• User Entered;
• Not Found;
• Product Estimated, if present;
• Calculated by Crmbls AI using BLS 4.0 nutrient data.

These labels are intended to help you understand how a value was created or where it came from. They are not scientific, medical, regulatory, laboratory, or certification guarantees.

In particular:

• BLS-based means Crmbls AI calculated app values using BLS 4.0 nutrient data and gram amounts.
• AI Calculated means Crmbls AI used a server-controlled AI-estimation path for an item or value where a BLS-backed result was not available or not selected.
• User Entered means values were entered by the user and are not verified by Crmbls AI.
• Not Found means the app could not produce a supported nutrition calculation for that item.
• Product Estimated, if used, means the result may rely on product-level estimation or user/app-provided product context and is not a regulatory nutrition label.

10. Accuracy indicators

The app may display Accuracy scores or reliability indicators. These are app-specific orientation signals based on available inputs, confidence, source coverage, user edits, or similar internal factors.

Accuracy scores are not scientific validation scores, medical validation scores, regulatory scores, laboratory test scores, food-safety scores, or guarantees of correctness. They do not mean that a result is complete, exact, suitable for every individual, or validated by any third party.

11. AI-assisted scan features and intended use

Crmbls AI may use AI services to analyze images, detect food or drinks, identify likely ingredients, select possible data sources, or estimate quantities.

The AI and scan features may only be used for their intended purpose: logging and reviewing food, drinks, and app-relevant nutrition or lifestyle information.

You must not intentionally upload images or content that are unrelated to this purpose. Prohibited misuse includes, without limitation, intentionally uploading images of persons, body parts, identity documents, private messages, financial information, medical records, weapons, drugs, dangerous substances, violence, sexual content, or other content not intended for a nutrition and lifestyle app.

Accidental uploads, unclear images, or wrong AI detections can happen and are not automatically a violation. However, you must not deliberately use the AI, scan, backend, wallet, reward, or reporting systems for unrelated, abusive, excessive, manipulative, or harmful purposes.

12. User content, images, and notes

You are responsible for any images, text, notes, or other content you upload or enter into the app.

You must not upload or enter content that:

• is unlawful;
• infringes third-party rights;
• contains another person's personal data without authorization;
• contains confidential information that you are not allowed to share;
• is discriminatory, harassing, abusive, violent, sexually explicit, harmful, or otherwise inappropriate;
• contains malware, exploit content, or manipulative instructions;
• is intended to test, bypass, overload, manipulate, or attack the app, AI services, backend systems, wallet functions, reward systems, or security mechanisms;
• is not suitable for a nutrition and lifestyle tracking app.

You should not enter sensitive information into notes, comments, or free-text fields unless it is necessary for the feature you are using.

13. Crmbls, wallet, paid actions, and refunds

Crmbls are a virtual in-app currency used inside Crmbls AI. Crmbls have no cash value, are not withdrawable, are not transferable, and may not be used outside the app.

Certain app actions may cost Crmbls. Crmbls are generally charged for the processing of a paid action, not only for saving or keeping the final output.

For scan flows, Crmbls may be consumed when the app performs a scan analysis. If the scan analysis has been processed, Crmbls may be consumed even if you later discard the result, do not save the result, receive a low-confidence result, receive a No Food result, or decide not to use the output.

If you upload an image that does not show food, a drink, or app-relevant nutrition content, the app may return a No Food, Low Confidence, Not Found, or similar outcome. Such outcomes can count as completed analysis attempts and may not be refunded.

A refund of Crmbls may be made where a paid action could not be properly processed because of a technical error, provider error, internal server error, or comparable error on our side. No refund is guaranteed for unsuitable images, low-quality inputs, unsupported foods, rejected or discarded outputs, unsupported user expectations, or misuse.

The app may use technical safety mechanisms such as idempotency keys, request fingerprints, ledger metadata, cooldowns, and other safeguards to prevent duplicate charges, abuse, conflicting requests, and wallet manipulation.

14. Rewards, rewarded ads, and rewarded-action unlocks

The Beta App may include reward features such as rewarded videos that can grant bonus Crmbls or unlock certain save/update actions for a limited time. Reward features are experimental and may use test, sandbox, demo, or non-production ad configuration during Beta.

Reward rules, cooldowns, claim availability, reward amounts, ad availability, provider behavior, and unlock behavior may change. There is no claim to a specific reward, a specific number of ads, a specific amount of Crmbls, a specific unlock, or uninterrupted access to reward features.

Crmbls granted through rewards remain virtual app currency only and have no monetary value.

Daily reward or streak features are not active in the current Beta. If they return in a future version, the applicable behavior and legal documents may be updated.

15. Plans, entitlements, billing, and future monetization

During Beta, authenticated testers may receive Free, Basic, Pro, Admin-style internal access, or other Beta-specific entitlements depending on the current configuration. Beta access does not mean that the same features, limits, allowances, pricing, plan names, or benefits will be available in the final app.

The Beta App does not include production subscriptions, Google Play Billing, RevenueCat, production purchase UI, or production paywalls unless expressly stated in a later version.

The Beta App does not guarantee final subscription pricing, final paid-plan features, final free-plan behavior, final reward behavior, or any future monetization model.

16. Manual logging, drinks, supplements, and user-defined types

Manual Food Search, Nutrition Entry, drink types, supplement types, amount presets, and related logs may allow you to create or enter values yourself. You are responsible for the correctness and suitability of user-entered values.

User-defined drink or supplement values, manually entered nutrition values, and amount presets are not verified by Crmbls AI. They may affect summaries, stats, goals, lifestyle views, and other app outputs.

Custom drink types, supplement types, amount presets, favorites, and lifestyle focus/settings may be subject to plan limits or rewarded-action unlock requirements depending on the current plan configuration.

17. Scan result reports

The app may allow you to report a saved scan result. Reporting a result is a trust and review signal only.

Submitting a report does not automatically:

• delete the meal log;
• change nutrition values;
• change Daily Summary values;
• correct the scan result;
• trigger re-analysis;
• create a refund;
• guarantee a response;
• guarantee that a change will be made.

Reports may be reviewed to improve scan reliability, app quality, and future product behavior.

18. Account deletion and Beta data reset

During the private Beta, in-app account deletion may be unavailable or disabled while product, technical, and legal handling is finalized. This does not limit mandatory rights you may have under applicable data protection law. You may contact us at support@crmblsai.com regarding privacy requests.

When the Beta phase ends, or when Crmbls AI moves to the final app or final production infrastructure, Beta accounts and Beta app data are expected to be deleted, reset, or not migrated. This may include meal logs, scan images, water and drink logs, supplement logs, goals, wellbeing entries, lifestyle data, favorites, reports, Crmbls wallet state, reward state, settings, and other Beta data.

Some limited records may remain where required for security, abuse prevention, debugging, legal compliance, accounting, dispute handling, backup deletion cycles, or similar legitimate reasons. Such retained records may be minimized, anonymized, aggregated, or associated only with neutral internal records where appropriate.

19. Availability and changes to the Beta App

We aim to provide the Beta App with reasonable care, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted availability, error-free operation, data preservation, complete accuracy, or compatibility with every device, OS version, network, app store, or test environment.

We may modify, limit, suspend, reset, or discontinue the Beta App, any feature, any data model, any entitlement, any pricing label, any reward rule, or any part of the infrastructure at any time, especially for security, testing, maintenance, legal compliance, or preparation of the final app.

20. Prohibited use

You must not use the app in any way that:

• violates applicable law;
• harms, disrupts, overloads, attacks, reverse engineers, or interferes with the app or infrastructure, unless expressly allowed by law;
• bypasses authentication, entitlement, wallet, reward, Crmbls, scan, or security systems;
• manipulates Crmbls, rewards, wallets, ledgers, cooldowns, or idempotency mechanisms;
• creates automated or abusive requests;
• uses AI or scan functions for unrelated image analysis, person identification, document analysis, medical diagnosis, safety analysis, illegal content analysis, or other app-foreign purposes;
• uploads images or content that are intentionally unrelated to food, drinks, or app-relevant nutrition or lifestyle tracking;
• violates the rights, privacy, or data of other persons;
• relies on the app for medical emergencies, medical decisions, or professional advice.

We may restrict, suspend, or end your access if we reasonably believe that you violate these Terms, misuse the app, create security risks, or interfere with the Beta.

21. Intellectual property

The app, brand, design, text, logos, software, UI, data structures, workflows, non-public mappings, and other materials are protected by intellectual property rights.

You receive a limited, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the Beta App for its intended purpose during the Beta phase.

You must not copy, modify, distribute, sell, sublicense, scrape, reverse engineer, or use the app or its content outside the permitted app use, except where mandatory law allows it.

Third-party data sources remain subject to their own license terms. Crmbls AI does not claim ownership of BLS 4.0 source data.

22. Feedback

You may provide feedback, ideas, bug reports, criticism, or suggestions during the Beta.

You allow us to use this feedback to improve, develop, operate, and communicate about Crmbls AI without compensation or obligation to implement your suggestion. Personal data included in feedback is handled according to the Privacy Policy.

23. Third-party services, platforms, and app stores

The app may use or interact with third-party services or platforms, such as Google OAuth, Google AI/Gemini, Google AdMob, Google Play, Supabase, Hostinger, PostHog, app store testing tools, email providers, or other technical providers.

Those third parties may have their own terms and privacy notices. If you install or test the app through an app store or beta testing platform, that platform's rules may also apply.

24. Privacy

The processing of personal data is described in the Crmbls AI Beta App Privacy Policy. By using the Beta App, you acknowledge that you have read the Privacy Policy. Where consent is required under applicable law, we will ask for consent through an appropriate process.

25. Suspension and termination

We may restrict, suspend, or terminate your access to the Beta App if:

• you violate these Terms;
• we suspect abuse, fraud, security risks, or manipulation;
• we need to protect users, the app, infrastructure, providers, or the Beta;
• the Beta ends;
• legal, technical, provider, or platform requirements make it necessary.

26. Liability

The Beta App is provided with reasonable care, but as a pre-release service it may contain bugs, interruptions, inaccurate results, incomplete data, data loss, or technical problems.

To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for decisions you make based on app outputs, nutrition values, scan results, Accuracy indicators, source labels, wellbeing entries, lifestyle scores, goals, summaries, or Beta data.

Nothing in these Terms limits liability for injury to life, body, or health, intent, gross negligence, mandatory statutory liability, or any liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.

27. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Germany, unless mandatory consumer protection laws of another country apply.

28. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Updates may be necessary when the app, Beta scope, features, infrastructure, pricing, Crmbls rules, rewards, account handling, data sources, third-party services, law, or business model changes.

We will make the current version available in the app or through the official legal pages. For material changes, we will inform you through appropriate means, such as an in-app notice, website notice, email, app store release notes, or another suitable communication channel.

By continuing to use the Beta App after updated Terms become effective, you accept the updated Terms, to the extent permitted by applicable law. If you do not agree to the updated Terms, you must stop using the Beta App.
